See if there is a Community Action Agency in your county. They somtimes will help elderly people or know where to get help for you at. Get on your state's web's site and see if there is a housing site. I live in Michigan our state's housing web site is MSDHA. Your state's department of social service may be able to help you. Dear Mother In Need, I understand your need. As I have been there a few times myself. Check out social services, community action agency,Salvation Army,your counties housing commission. Community Action Agency helped me once when I was in great need. I hope this helps you. God Bless You!

I am a disabled person on disibilty social security. I currently live in a mobile home. I am a very compassionate person. My current household consists of a disabled friend with no income. He's tried to get disability social security for the past four years. He keeps getting denied. If my friend didn't live with me. He and his dog would be living out on the street. My friend has lived with me for the past four and a half years with no income this whole time.

My daughter with her five month old baby is living with me too. The father of the baby doesn't help finacially either. My daughter also has no income. She is not able to work because of health problems.

My oldest son soon will be moving back home so that he can continue his educatin. So, he will only be working part time.

In nine months or less I could be having another son and his pregnant girlfriend living with me.

Being my income is only $1118.00 a month my mobile home payment and park lot rent is $600 a month. Of, course my credit report and score is in the gutter. How am I suppose to get a home loan with bad credit and low income? I live in Barry County, Michigan.  If anybody has helpful solutions to my nightmare please email me at lfahrne@yahoo.com. I am a single disabled person. I try to help everybody out that I can. I will give people whatever I have to make their life happier and more pleasant. Even if it means that I go without my own needs and wants. Some how by the grace of God this below poverty level life works. There has been many times in the last five years that I have given up my bedroom so somebody else can have their own privacy. I usually sleep out in the livingroom. I have even sleep on the floor if there weren't enough beds for the family members and friends in my home.

I divorced my ex-husband partly because he objected to me helping people. He would tell me my place was in the home taking care of him, our sons, and the house. My ex-husband has a high paying state job. So, I also gave up that secure finacial resource. Plus he inherited a large amount of money and property from his parents. What little I recieved in my divorced settlemet. He succeeded in taking that away from me too. By using our sons against me in court. The ex-husband knows my sons are my achilles heel. My sons also have problems with depression. So the exhusband knows that I won't let my sons suffer.

I don't know where I would be at today if I didn't have love and faith in God. Please have a good day!
